3 new litters in 4 days :)

I have had a really fun past few days, after having a horrible start last week with my female snow slugging out with her first litter. Over the past four days, I have welcomed 3 brand new litters...2 Paradox Albino/Het Paradox Albino and a Stripe/Tiger litter that had a surprise paradox albino pop up in it, due to retained sperm from last year's breeding. With one of the paradox litters, I witnessed the mother trying to consume a live neonate. I had heard of mom's eating stillborns and slugs, but I had never heard of them eating live offspring. Luckily I was able to extract the baby from mom, no worse for wear

Congrats on the little worms! They are so gorgeous I can't pick a favorite!
I'm happy you got to save the little guy in time, I could imagine the mother was stressed as all hell giving birth but seeing her eat her own young would have thrown me for a loop :O

Yeah, it was quite the sight when I opened up her tub, and she had the baby in her mouth, sideways....lol
