Rosy Boas Take Longer to Shed?

Out of all the species I have it seems that my Rosies take forever to shed. The sheds come out fine, usually in one piece but the process of shedding can take as long as three weeks! Anyone else notice this?

Re: Rosy Boas Take Longer to Shed?

I dont have other snakes to compare to besides what ive read about shedding times but my rosy doesnt shed very often. When she does finally go into blue it seems to take sooo long for her to complete her shed but it has always come off in one piece!

It's nice to know if it's something specific to the species. I'm curious and I want to understand them as best I can.
