I am wondering if anyone knows what happened to these corn snake eggs. They have been in the incubator for almost 1 month. I still have about 15 eggs that still look viable. But I had 6-7 eggs that look like this. The eggs are incubated at 82-83 F with 99% humidity. What might have caused this to happen or is this just how the eggs look when they go bad. Any help or advice would be appreciated 20150328_143216 (600x800).jpg
Wow, sorry for the loss! I agree that they were probably slugs to begin with. At least you have more viable eggs. Are you sure that is the right temperature?
they look like they where starting to develop from the red coloration in the eggs. i am pretty sure temp is accurate but will check again today with a thermometer. they where solid so i figured i would cut them open n see what the inside was like.
Oh, ok. Thanks. Sounds like that temp is correct. Humidity may be a bit high at 99% ? I am not sure about that. I know 99% is right for ball pythons and boas but for corns idk.
