NEw monitor! thoughts?

Got this guy shipped to me yesterday. he doesn't look to have been in the best care. very skittish. I was just wondering all of your thoughts on him and any advice on how i should get him use to me. As well as info on training and handling and feeding. all advice appreciated. thanks!
