I am making a rack, going with ply wood this time, as its so much cheaper...
what is a good sealent i can use to help protect the wood from failing over time due to moisture from tub... im getting supplies tonight, so any help is appriciated!
going to be 15 tub rack, 5 long, by 3 high, for Ball Pythons...
Varathane Diamond Wood Finish or Varathane Professional Wood Finish, both are water based and dry fast. Varathane Professional has less VOC's...that's really the only difference I've found between the two. I've personally used both and I'm happy with the results. I suggest 3-4 coats.
Good luck
Terry
