Was bored and didn't like the wooden shelfs I had made and all the empty bare plywood showing, so I decided to cover the cage in bark. Some 18x24 exo-terra ones, a home-made one on the right, and Michaels cork sheets on the left. Fastened them with nails along with some cork tubes and a hanging basking stack. I like the way it came out... made a bit of a mess while doing it though.
You can see one of their tales in the top left corner in this pic, dunno how he squeezed in there but im assuming it was warm. Sleeping 4 feet off the ground :P
Here is a pic of the basking stack although it doesn't show much of it. Its 4 hollow logs screwed into the wall overlapping eachother. They can squeeze into different parts and hang out. More natural looking basking area.
edit: Btw I never knew you made an enclosure. Did you make a progress thread on it?
I didn't make it. Its 4 x 3 x 2, came with the light fixtures and everything and it cost me 100 dollars on craiglist so I grabbed it.
Thanks man. It took me a while to get all the bark up and there are some empty smaller spots because I got lazy. Gonna hide the ugly spots with more fake plants when I have the time.
Thanks guys, the new female is in there. Haven't seen either female today other than when I put her in though. I'll shoot some pics when they come out of hiding !
