Weird Albino....what do you think???

Hey all!!!

So I've had this guy for a little while now. Picked him up in Reading at a show last spring. I'm not real current with boa morphs and honestly just wanted an albino boa to raise as a pet.

The guy I got him from said he bought the boa as a female sharp arabesque but when he received it probed it male and decided it was a normal kahl albino, which is what I bought it as.

I've had numerous people tell me that it is infact a sharp, I don't know and don't really care which strain it is. My real question is he has this strange pattern running down both sides of him body from head to tail. He has no "medallions" to speak of. Just this "chainlink" pattern. And his tail seems a bit different too.

I don't have any plans for him, like I said, just got him as a pet and i'm not hoping he's some amazingly expensive one of a kind or anything. Just curious if anyone has ever seem this before cuz I can't find anything anywhere that looks like him so lemme know what you think! Thanks!

aslo just want to point out that for some reason the pics washed out the connecting lines between most of the saddles

I have no idea about Boa morphs however he is beautiful, I love that pattern color combo!

This does look like a Sharp arabesque, it may even have some Motley in there. What did the guy originally pay for it, do you know ?

I actually don't know exactly what the guy I got him from originally paid but he said it was QUITE a bit more then he was selling him for and seemed EXTREMELY irritated by the whole thing. I guess I'd be pretty annoyed too if I payed over a grand for a snake to find out it's only worth around $200.

Like I said earlier, I really just wanted an albino to raise as a pet, didn't even know albino arabs existed till he mentioned it and had ABSOLUTELY no idea how much they were going for, I was blown away when I looked them up. I ended up only paying $150 for this boa cuz I bought a pair of adult borneo bloods from him too so he knocked $50 off the total and gave me all three for $300. The bloods are awesome too, my husband and I are putting them together this week so hopefully we'll have some AWESOME look offspring from them eventually. Keeping my fingers crossed!

He's just an awesome gorgeous snake no matter what he is, super tame and eats whatever you throw at him.

Wow! That's so cool! I feel bad now for the guy I bought him from but I really didn't know what he "could" be, was just super excited to finaly be getting my albino and the guy seemed to know what he was talking about so I just can't believe he made such an oops like that! He was actually my birthday present this year from my hubby, he and the bloods.

I would recommend selling it as genetics unknown. If someone pays for a sharp Arab and it doesn't prove to be either you will be black balled really quick.

...is what I said. I would never sell something as something without knowing for sure that something IS that kind of something, like any other respectable breeder/hobbyist. Kinda goes without saying I think.

I actualy do have him listed for sale/trade and listed him as exactly what he is, no worries there hun. My ad explains exactly what I did here but any profit or trade value is for an exceptionally nice normal male kahl. BUT like I also said I think i'm just gonna hang onto him, I did buy him as a pet and have become a bit attached. I don't really care about any kind of market value or anything, I'm just curious as to what he could be since I've gotten such strong responses in so many different directions. So no more mentions about selling or profits or anything like that please, just wanna hear peoples opinions on what they think he could (or couldn't) be

if his genetics are potentially valuable, why not mate him with another interesting female, that way you have a chance of something even more special, to either keep or sell, along with him...if the potential is there, i'd do it, personally. but, i dont know anything about boa morphs, so i'd definitly be doing allot of research before going on that kind of mission

beautiful looking snake whatever his genetics - doe he change color much? would love to see some other shade if he does, keep the pics coming
