Apep's First Shed

i looked inside the tank today and found a fresh shedding, must of happened over night.

Oddly enough he's eaten everytime i've tried feeding him, i was under the assumption that they stop feeding while they're in the process of shedding, maybe cause he's a baby?

Also i'm very happy to see he shed with no problems and it came out in one intact piece. that must mean his environment(Temperature and Humidty) is perfect, correct? I must be doing a good job!

Re: Apep's First Shed

My snakes eat during the shed process with no issues.

Re: Apep's First Shed

Most of mine eating during shed. Babies are more likely to do so, however; I've had some that fed in shed as babies but refused in shed as adults. A good she means the humidity is correct. :-)
