What kind of heat pad do you guys use for your rubbermaids?
I was thinking about getting a rubbermaid for mine too because he is still young what do you guys think is the best way to heat it?

the human heat pads but not the ones that automatically turn off.

I use a sunbeam one.

oh, do you place the rubbermaid on it or does the heatpad go in the rubbermaid itself, and im guessing low heat?

heat pad goes under the rubbermaid.

Low should be fine.

I use the bulldog clips myself..they work fine, although the "S" thing is a good idea too!

As for heating, maybe try and get some flexwat or heat tape, and a thermostat of some kind. Light dimmers work too, and are fairly inexpensive.

hey guys i just jumped on the rubbermaid bandwagon today i went and got one for my blood python and i am using a human heat pad for heat. but i want to know how many holes should i have drilled into it ? i drilled 27 1/4 inch holes and the humidity is way up in the 70's which is good but i dont want to not have enough holes. thanks and heres a pic


and before anyone says anything about the stick on thermometer its only til i get a digital
