I made that mistake when I housed a pair of Gophers together when I was finishing their cages (they were delivered a bit early and I had to take them). When I noticed both snakes heads were behind the cork bark I got a bad feeling and decided to check it out sure enough the male had almost all the females head in his mouth I picked them both up and kind of jiggled them and the male let go, and aside from a little blood she was still in great shape. I now make sure I have enclosures set up about a month give or take ahead of time.

Well there is one good news after a week of not disturbing it..
it did take it down and digested it...and pooped the other female out (I separate them by sex so I am sure that it was a female that ate the other female...)
I took a photo of the poop....(yes I am disgusting..)
I'll post it later~

Very good news. After reading that Ladyhawk's regurged the mouse he caught, it left me thinking of your snakes situation. Not disgusting at all Simon, I'd be intrested to see the pic.

Yes Simon, we can feel your pain. See most people think we only keep venomous snakes, but the truth is we also love corns. Barry, Joe, and I decided to house our beautiful new candy cane corn with one of our coral snakes. Well, you can just imagine the horror we felt when we returned and discovered this.

Chuck I can't decide if you're tying to be funny or not. The reason I can't decide is because I thought for sure that you knew enough to know that people feed corns to corals that won't eat. As a matter of fact there was a post recently in the venomous forum showing a coral eating a corn. So I'm pretty sure you're trying to be funny. Let me tell you that you're not funny at all.

Thank you for posting those pictures Simon. I am SICK and tired of people telling other people its o.k. to house corns together. ITS NOT! It's not just non-feeders either. These mistakes can happen at any time when housing snakes together IMHO and should be avoided by simply buying other cages. Although I see why you had them together at that point, most people do house non feeders together. I believe around 3-5 people this season have had hatchlings eat each other. Its horrible to see newcomers to this hobby get told that their new hatchlings corns can live together. I am glad this is here for another point for the arguement against it.

Trevor, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without constructive criticism from you and other comedic critics, it would be impossible for me to grow as a comedian or as a person. Keep up the good work brother! Travel the world over and tell people they are not funny at all, as your opinion is what is used to gauge all comedy.

That coral eats quite well. We attempt to house other species with it all the time and he enjoys the variety. He's really not picky, he'll corns, copperheads, browns......list goes on and on.

Barry, I think tonight we should attempt to house Joe’s baby canebrake with the coral and see what happens.

Or maybe get some people who actually agree with you for your information instead of running around this forum with your gang of "forum followers" to back you up constantly.
