My nameless Sinoloan.

I can't post photos from my phone, but my 11 year old Sinaloan Milk Snake made an escape attempt last night. Luckily I was in the room at the time, but she pried up an 11gage stainless cover and was half out when I noticed her. I put a ton more weight on the top, and will pick up locks thus week. I never thought it would be strong enough to break out. Never underestimate your snakes!!!

Sorry to hear about the escape attempt and glad you caught her. Amazing how they don't need strength really but if they get their head into a crack or a void..game over. Try to make sure the cover gets closed completely in the future or just add a locking device to avoid repeat occurrences.

Re: My nameless Sinoloan.

I'm glad she didn't get away from you Klinger. I had a BP years ago that could escape his tank even though I had books and bungy cords holding the top down. He always found a weak spot. Have you had your milk snake all 11 years? That's gotta be a good feeling to keep your animal healthy and thriving for that long. My oldest snake will be 4 in October. Post pics of your critter when you can.

El Ziggy, I plan to pick up some locks in the near future. I had always thought a steel top with custom welded steel light box would be to heavy for her to lift, but I was wrong!

Here is my most recent pic of her at a party a few weeks ago, everyone loved it! She is infamous for climbing into womens tops...
