Arboreal snake hides

My friend attached some RBI plastic hides to the top of his carpet enclosure. It seems to be a hit... (photos courtesy of Cody Conway)

How to attach. May need reinforcement for heavier snakes.

Re: Arboreal snake hides

Cool idea, I wondered what people were using for non terrestrial snakes for hides other then dense plants.

Very nice! Looks like it can slide out from the clips for cleaning?

Re: Arboreal snake hides

I've thought about doing something like this but never could figure out how. Do you think it would work on the side of an enclosure too?

Re: Arboreal snake hides

A long time ago i posted a topic up, suggesting these krokig hangers from Ikea as hides for snakes (the come in different colors). Normal hides on the ceiling is also cool

Looks like they'd also be good to hang fake plants from

The only thing I dislike about these is that there's no way to access the animal if I choose to. I have to either take it off or pull it out somehow.

I prefer hides that have removable sides, tops or no bottom.
