Re: New rat snake
Thanks all; was a tough choice between the rat or a bull, but I've always liked orange, lol. Now I'm wondering what the chances are my corn may be a male, and if they'd cross? Surely not more difference in those 2 species than the king/milk hybrids I've seen. She doesn't seem to be as shy as the corn, less than a week here and she's usually found sitting out in the open rather than tucked up inside a shelter or burrowed under the substrate like the corn. I keep resisting the temptation to pick her up though, want to let her settle into the new enclosure and become even more comfortable first.
