They would definitely use the space and would grow into it in a matter of a year or so. Its not like they're going to freak out and go off feed like a ball python.
And like SMY said, the cage is plenty large enough for a pair or a trio, too.

Other species to consider are: desert iguanas, plated lizards, European legless lizards (Sheltopusiks), Columbian tegu, water dragons,....with a cage that size, you can do a lot, as long as you avoid the giants like full-sized monitors, Argentine tegus, green iguanas, and other lg iguanas.
