Home made fogger
Hey all. I've been looking at foggers online and all of them have bad reviews and are pretty expensive for the quality. I've seen people who have made their own out of a humidifier, but I need details on how to do the hoses and if there is a diverter on the end to spread the fog out. I'm sure a lot of you on here have probably done the same thing, so ya'lls advice would be appreciated.

What are you planning on using it for?

Try a Mistking. They are pretty expensive but I've never seen a bad review on them

Re: Home made fogger
I've seen some cheap DIYs using an air pump from a fish tank. Looks pretty good, not sure how well it works though.

Re: Home made fogger
Someone on here uses a bubble stone in a water dish. That should be all you need.

Re: Home made fogger
Thanks everybody. I may just go the cheap route and use and air pump & bubble stone to begin with. Still considering more options.

Re: Home made fogger
Have you seen bad reviews on the Pro Mist? I have zero experience with it but Bob at Pro Products is a great guy and a wealth of knowledge.
You might give him a call.

Re: Home made fogger
I'm using the air stone/air pump method right now. It maintains 60-70% in a 4x2.5x20. I'm very happy with it, only cost $30.

Re: Home made fogger
I bought a Zoo Med 18x18x24 terrarium and am going to use it in that. Wondering if that will keep humidity up enough?

Re: Home made fogger
LOL! here is the fogger I bought. It was $37, but not too bad. 1 1/4" tubing squeezes right on.
