Should I feed him a bit early?

Colubrids have a higher metabolism than boids do so they require more in take in general.

I currently use a 10 - 15% of body weight rule for each feeding and I have boids so they only require feeding at 7 day intervals.

Now with both of those things said I would go with one meal item, a little on the smaller side, more frequently. One of those pinks every 5 days should suffice.

Thanks for the advice, I'll take it to consideration. If I get him some larger pinkies, I'll probably drop him down to just one every 7 days. This little guy is very active though, so who knows. He ate two mice and he's out climbing his perches and stuff. He's a little feisty, but I'm falling in love with him
