Don't think it matters what morph the garter is, but if any garter can hiss I'd imagine the rest can too. I've never heard of hissing garters though, can't help you here.

Yes they can hiss the ones I move around my back yard when I mow flatten there heads hiss then bite. You can hear it

haha fair enough, well mine doesn't go anywhere near my garden because he would be my huskies new toy xD
