so what if you breed a Garden with lets say a patternless yellow? same as with other snakes genes?

That is what is great about breeding ATB's, you can breed 2 gardens and get colored babies. The multi colors are not morphs, they are natural colors and patterns. You will get more colors if you breed colored parents, but you get colored babies sometimes, even if both parents are gardens.
