As ridiculous as the laws may be, we have to abide by them or they will get even stricter. That's why if you need a license or permit to keep certain reptiles, you need to get it. If certain reptiles are banned in your area, then either move or don't keep them. The more people that are caught keeping reptiles illegally, gives the law makers more reason to make more laws to ban them. We need to regulate ourselves or the government will do it for us. This is all true and I agree with everything you said. However, we need to also agree that when ball pythons start getting banned the laws are getting out of hand.
