If your snake wants to be warm but feel secure at the same time, it has no where to go. Try covering them like this. You can use paper but what I use is some adhesive chalkboard paper. It's like a big sticker you can cut to size and stick on the sides. Commercial Chalkboard Contact Paper, Black, 18 Inches x 6 Feet: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific Nice perches btw.
