Why's that Jay? Some carpets are bitey and do benefit from regular handling and do calm down over time. There is also the chance it will never calm down and be aggressive as an adult. IMO you will never know if you don't try. Work with it in the proper way and give it a chance to adjust.

IMO. No snakes benifit from repetitive handaling. If you can show me studies that state otherwise....

No studies at all. I'm speaking from my own experience that's all. I was wondering what your thoughts were since you gave no explanation as to why the OP should completely disregard my comment.
While we're at it, I guess no snake will benefit from being captive and in our possession, but you and the rest of us do it. Can you show me studies that say otherwise?
The OP wants to handle their snake and I offered some encouragement. I don't think that was wrong.
