Re: Thoughts on logo

OK, yeah I right it was pretty simple, and that's been confirmed. I also should have a few body shots to choose from, so I should be able to do that tonight when I get them from my photographer. I plan to try both the drawing and monochrome ideas.

Re: Thoughts on logo

I really want to go with kind of a "futuristic" look (Next Generation), and I think the monochrome might do that really well. Definitely going with a full body shot.

Re: Thoughts on logo

like the text...it's the photo of the snake is kind of dark, and has the black blurry border around it. it either needs to all be photo, or all be photoshopped. A full body photo with good color in the center, or an illustration.
simple white, with black snake head outline, then the black border with white text : )

It's not simple to turn a low quality photo into something of high quality.

That is very true, I will agree that it is much easier to start with high quality to end with high quality, but my wife and I are graphic designers so I would say for me creating a black and white illustration from a photograph is a fairly simple task.

Re: Thoughts on logo

OK, we're going with a different pic that hopefully won't have to be touched up.

I'm also a designer, and while it may be a simple task for you it may not be for the OP.

Re: Thoughts on logo

Thanks, Wildside. The designer knows all about that stuff and can definitely do it with the programs he uses. I hope to have an amazing PICT to use, with whatever format I end up using. Without seeing either, obviously, I am really leaning towards the monochrome.

Stay tuned!

I am interested to see what you guys come up with, I love logo progressions, and it sounds like you have a good handle on what your looking for. It should be nice!

I honestly can't believe an actual designer did that for you

I'm pretty bad about not reading through posts carefully and all this time I thought you'd done that yourself.
