So you want someone qualified to "take it off your hands" but also to pay you? Either you want it to go to a great home OR you want cash for it. I dont see the two things coming together somehow.

Ill take him off your hands for $200usd. I just can't seem to load any money on PayPal ATM. Can you send $300usd? I'll then send you back the payment of $200usd.

Re: Please read this post !!!!!!!!!

Well considering a now removed thread I will be cool about this.
Either give it away to someone you trust or sell it to anyone with the cash.
Buying a reptile and a few montha later losing interest is not a free venture.
You will lose some money unless you only want 1/2 of next to nothing for it.
Sorry but its true. Rehoming and selling are not the same.
It is ok to ask for some cash but it had better be a fraction of new cost for the animal and its enclosure. A true rehome is free.

I totally understand, schooling is very important. But its like Terranaut said, rehoming should be free and if its because you need the money because of what you put in them then your not going to get it all back, not even close.

True dat.

LOL...even the animals I have purchased and resold years later, I would never make real profit on, if I tried to recoup ALL the expenses I put into each critter (food, heating, bedding). "Yeah, I paid $20 for this ball python, but I'm trying to recoup all the rats, aspen shavings and electricity that powered his heat mat over the past 5 years...so that'll be about $200 rehoming fee"

Ditto on what everyone else said. You cannot have your cake and eat it too. Want it to go to a good home? Screen for the right person and just give it to them (you may even feel good about it afterwards knowing it went to a better home). Or you can just pawn it off to whoever shows up with the right amount of cash. Can't do both. Sorry.

I was thinking the same thing. There's something else in your closet that you could make a quick buck on...

...or better yet...is getting a job out of the question? I don't mean the question sarcastically or mean-spirited? Seriously...if you are constantly needing cash, you will quickly run out of things in your closet or trunk of your car, to pawn off. Steady income trumps that. Even some miniscule campus job is better than nothing. This coming from one voice of experience (a herper who spent 8 yrs in college, had reptiles the entire time in dorms, apartments, etc. and at one time, held 3 different jobs simultaneously).

Re: Please read this post !!!!!!!!!

Money on a sav lol. I can get them for $10 and get better deals on larger quanity. I'll pay $15 but you pay shipping ($50-60)

You better off selling the cage and supplies with the added bonus of a free monitor.
