Re: Diamond python feeding question

find another supplier of food, thats outrageous.

Do NOT try and over feed your diamond, it will live a very short life if you do.

Im quite sure I don't have feeder breeders nearby ALL the pet store rats are the same price,
But 2 main questions are: can he live off mostly quail??
I'm not TRYING to overfeed him, I feed him every 1 1/2 weeks as advised by the breeder, though is that too much? cos he did tell me to keep the temp hot spot ALWAYS 27 degrees celciuss even in winter.... There are just SOO many people saying different things about how to keep him!!
I WANT THE EXACT PRECISE TRUE INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO KEEP HIM HAPPY HEALTHY AND EXPECTING A LONG LIFE!!!!!!!

its the long life that is the crucial bit there.

I didn;t mean to imply that you were deliberately trying ot over feed so sorry if it came across that way.

Quail is fine as part of a balanced diet. 2 quail to 1 rat should be ok. They do need cool time, I feed the ones here every 3 - 4 weeks, but they are 12 month sold.
