Re: Looking to buy green anaconda
I have given this alot of thought and i do know that greens are HIGHLY illegal but i myself am willing to take the risk and the blame. to be honest my second choice besides the green conda was a BCC, true red tail boa. I will be giving this alot of thought now from what you guys have told me and making the hobby look bad, but still not sure. I believe anything over 10 foot is illegal. Boas have been known to reach 11-12 foot, does this make them illegal as well? someone give me a brief rundown of some large snakes LEGAL, from what they know here in Hammy.

You can't edit original posts. You have four(4) minutes after hitting the submit button to edit your post then the option is gone.
Secondly, I am not doing the research for you in regards to your local bylaws. They are online, go check.
Lastly, I know a lot of hobbiest, I also know they don't "break" the rules. They abide by them because they know what's on the line.
Sorry, that wasn't last. This is. Posting publicly your location and what you want is a bad idea like Jay said. Do people really think someone from the government doesn't monitor forums like this from time to time? My close friend has a job that is just scouring the internet for non-legit businesses and going after them with fines and such. I don't doubt they do the same for lawbreakers.

Re: Looking to buy green anaconda
I know for a fact that government agencies regularly monitor herp forums in the states.
Definitely not a smart move, and could definitely cost you your herps.

It was a very poor move and could cost others their herps as well. If people break the rules they will make more rules and we all will suffer for your actions.

Re: Looking to buy green anaconda
Since so many others are chiming I thought I would as well. First, I will say I will not defend the OP on this thread. We all know that you dont broadcast the fact that you keep and seek more illegal snakes on a public forum. It looks bad on everybody and puts his own collection at risk. I myself have a permit allowing me to keep any big snake the state allows. I know this was necessary if Im going to keep big snakes in Des Moines. All that having been said, from what Im reading, the OP already knows this himself and wishes he could "put the cat back in the bag". Further harping on him is unproductive and further emanates the stench of condemnation. I think in order for this thread to die, the OP needs to quit replying to accusations and just "let the cards fall where they may". Hopefully this thread will get buried and we can all move on to bigger and better things. Whether or not this will happen is beyond me. I can only hope.

Re: Looking to buy green anaconda
You could always ask Infernalis to delete the thread for you - It might be wise to just wipe this one off the map

Re: Looking to buy green anaconda
If you currently own illegal animals and admit it here you need to both delete your thread and your account. Start new and keep it to yourself your breaking the law.
