Re: My Best Photos
We don't have critters like that here and tbh if it had started displaying at me like that, I'd have been scared if it ;-)

Hahaha! I was absolutely fascinated by it! So pretty.... I love inverts and I love threat displays!!! It was pretty intimidating for just being an oversized grasshopper!

In that case, I'd have needed a LARGE zoom lens to get the shot lol. The only thing remotely resembling that we have in Scotland, is what we call a wood wasp, which is about 2 ins long, if they're flying you hear them before you see them, but as far as I know they dont have a stinger, they just LOOK mean :-)

Re: My Best Photos
I love Garter Snakes! I am yet to aquire one though because my parents hate snakes. The whole convincing them thing is still a work in progress! My all time favorite Garter Snake is the Melanistic Wandering Garter Snake. I love the clean, pure black look that it has.

Re: My Best Photos
I'll pm you about my herping locations, I do not reveal them publicly for a lot of reasons! Most places are private land anyways, one of them being farmland owned by my family!
