Ok... I think I'm a bit twisted but I do like it when they're hungry. Carpets look the best when hunting IMO.

i'm the same,i don't go in their tanks while preys defrosting in another room,or for at least 24 hours after feeding
they tend to mistake anything with a heat signature as food
