New Set Up
Hi guy`s, got my new viv for my JCP & Corn, question is: will the JCP be ok in that space ( 2 1/2 ft high ) when fully grown ( she`s around 5ft ) or will i get the corn a new home and remove the partition so the JCP has 4ft high ?
Thank`s for looking
Corbet

Re: New Set Up
I would say that height would be fine - nice looking viv you got there! The only thing i would say is maybe put some more wood in there for him to climb on.

Cheers Rob, i`am going to add more wood and a couple of boxes this week. there two branches in it now you can just see.
The corn is sleeping in two logs under the aspen, he likes to hide under there.
I paid £6 for 10 litres of Aspen from P@H, is there any recomended online sites which are cheaper and maybe free delivery. Also need a new supplier of frozen rats/mice if anyone can help please

Re: New Set Up
It's big enough mate by the looks of it... very nice enclosure. I would not permantly secure that partition down though just in case she turns out to be a large JCP.

Cheers mate, the partition just snaps it with a turn of a screw type bolt so it`s easy to remove. The full viv comes apart and put together again in say 30 minutes.
More info for anyone who might be interested

Re: New Set Up
Wow that looks great. And a sweet carpet too.I cant wait till mine gets big, but I do hope he quits biting by then.
I have mine in a 4x2x2 but I imagine I will need to make it taller or something eventually.

a 4x2x2ft viv will do an adult carpet fine it's whole life
with the exception of a large coastal or diamond
to the op
what length is the viv in the picture mate ?
its got great hieght but the the length may be a bit short
if its 3 or 4ft in legnth then imo its ok for your jungle as an adult
cheers shaun

It`s 4ft High, 2ft in width and 2ft depth. It looks as if i`v got the wrong viv Shaun.
So ideally i`d be looking for a 4 4 2 ?

Made a couple of adjustments, removed Corn & added some wood.
Love watching her feeding, put that rat in about 15 mins ago and she`s just starting to get it down.
