All a matter of personal taste, Genetic Stripe does nothing for me. I like Clowns, pattern and recessive mutation in one package. This is one of the stronger mutations, great feeders...

I think Clowns are a very beautiful and underrated morph......they definitely have a place set aside in my collection!!!! Not just the fact that it would be cool to mix other morphs to, but you have to remember the Clowns WILL hold their value for many more years than many of the co dom and dom morphs. Simple recessive is where its at!!!! I know alot of people who don't want clowns for the simple reason that they don't want to have to deal with hets. An adult Clown is truly an impressive animal with amazing hues and an amazing brownback. Like I said....definitely UNDERRATED! Just my 2 cents.

I think clowns are great too, they are actually one of the first morphs that got me interested in the whole ball morph craze. I would love to get one but that will probably be after a pied and orange ghost and maybe a pastel ghost too, they look soo great. I don't know how anyone could not like clowns though, just imagine a pastel ghost clown !! That would take alot of waiting but I think would be well worth the effort and wait.

I think clowns are awesome and the fact that they have not been crossed with any other morph make them even more appealing. Some of the clowns out there look amazing, especially the ones with that wide stripe, cross that with an albino, ghost, pastel, mojave, plati, etc. the possibilities are endless. We are definately getting some in '06. Carlos

I would have to agree with most people here I love the look of clowns, not the babies but they are one of the few morphs that actually look better as adults. The are highly underrated because as babies look allot like any other black back, as for how they might fit into the designer morph world I think a Mojave/clown, pastel clown , or hypo clown would all make amazing animals. Albino clown I think would turn out and dull yellow animals, I think it would be a wasted effort.

You are totally right, it seems that they DO look better as adults. They are just so impressive! It also seems that they are VERY VERY hearty feeders as well! A good Ball Python trait!
