No 40-60% , any higher they will get an RI I have a Dumerils, they are the best

40-60% is totally ok, but not during the shedding process. During the shedding process the humidity should not drop below 68% and not to be raised over 75%. Around 70% is the best during the shedding process. The only time my Dumeril shed uncomplete was in a 62% humidity.

High humidity does not cause RI, but it can facilitate opportunities for disease vectors if the enclosure is damp or stagnant.
