You can't really house a true arboreal species at home, unless you have a very high house. Anything in a vivarium of normal proportions can be considered terrestrial, and any reptile provided with branches so low to the ground will use them.
I'd provide with branches, it gives more exercise to the snake in the limited space a vivarium can provide.
