Re: Red Rattler
Thought that was the case Dave. Bit bonkers but hey, if that's the law and all that. No more crazy than not needing DWAL for certain constricting snakes imo.

I agree mate you would think it would be a mad house south of the border, but they seem to police themselves very well. As for licensing large snakes I think it would be a mess, there's to many big snakes already out there. I don't know how you would start to enforce it jmo

Oh I know the horse has long since bolted. I mean the fact they were never DWA in the first place.
I know you and others on here are very responsible giant keepers but you only need to spend 10 minutes on Facebook to see just what idiots some people are when it comes to keeping them.
I would include my incoming scrubs in the same category - not quite as big but possibly even quicker and barely less powerful.

Don't get me wrong Danny I totally agree with you, my mate who keeps the hots says I'm mad for keeping big snakes. And I think he's bonkers for keeping hots, I guess it's all down to what you're comfortable with. But then I once heard some one say there's no antivenom for construction. And I would give your scrubs just as much respect as would any large snake
