It was supposed to be just Anubias on the left, the Brazilian sword on the right. I was trying a micro sword as a foreground grass type plant for awhile but the Malaysian trumpet snails kept uprooting them so I gave up. There was also a moss ball which has broken apart now. The java fern was a stowaway. Must have hitched a ride on the sword from another tank I had. Every now and then I end up with a lot of other moss as well, not sure the exact type. Go figure I can grow it when not trying but when I tried it died.
The blue one is my dads old snowmobile helmet. I keep it because it's a memory growing up doing laps in the front yard on the snowmobile. The orange and black is my modular snowmobile helmet. I ride sleds and now getting into ATVs. Winters lately have kind of sucked around here. Last year was good snow wise but had machine trouble. Piston blew the year before and then after that got fixed last year a stud put a hole in the heat exchanger. So last year was a bust.

Thanks, this is the only planted tank I could keep this green. I tried to plant a 35g and it wasn't a great success, I changed that tank so many times and different fish and decor. Tried unsuccessfully to breed a few times, the only person alive who couldn't breed a proven trio of convicts. My power knows no bounds

. It's Fluval stratum, expensive stuff. It's good for plants but not really feasible in larger tanks, cost a small fortune in bigger tanks. I've been keeping fish since grade school when I won a goldfish. Now just have this tank left, got rid of my 35g when I moved 2 years ago. Figured if I wanted another big tank later on down the road move up to a 40g breeder or a 55g and open a lot more options. In a couple years I'll build a goldfish pond in the backyard. Have to wait for that as it will cost a couple grand I'm sure. Moving more into reptiles now but still have this tank. Tried to get rid of it before my last move to save hassle but the guy backed out last minute so now I'm just keeping it. Nice addition to the room anyway.
