Re: Feeding Adult BPs

adults feed every 3-5 weeks depending on the animal and prey size... a medium rat every 7 days leads to obesity with these snakes very easily. Should really take care of fat contents as well in the...

Re: What's your favourite snake family?

Favorite family for me: Psammophiidae

Re: Hey I'm new

Too small for about any adult snake. Can keep a juvenile in there for its first year perhaps. Most smaller snakes need at least 36x18x18, most snakes that cross 3' would rather need a 48x24x18 and...

Re: Amazon tree boa heating help please

While ATB looks all neat in pictures, it's a bit of a boring snake... also, not really a "family snake" that you can take out often, or which is generally well tempered. Something to keep in mind..

Re: Possible mouth rot?

Looks more like substrate stuck on his mouth, in which case I wouldn't worry about it. If you're sure it's not, then perhaps a more close up picture would help?

Can floor his logic too...

Take a 4000 gr Ball python, with his logic in the wild it would eat 16 kg of food/year according to you.

A Ball python in the wild aestivates 3 months of the year...

Re: My Boa Feeding Regimens - TL;DR Warning

Sorry but your feeding regimen is pretty ridiculous BallBuster...

10-15% of weight biweekly, that is a feeding schedule for an active adult colubrid, not adult boa.
