Thing is if you did get one of these, and woke up in the morning to find it had escaped. How would you sleep at night, personally I'd just torch the house and claim the insurance

I have always wanted one, isn't happening though till I move out lol. I saw one that measured something like 14 inches at an insectarium presentation once.

I was in New Mexico some years back, just outside the Carlsbad Caverns cave entrance, waiting for the "bat exodus", where over two million bats come streaming out the caves at dusk in search of food...quite the sight!
Anyway, my wife and I were sitting there waiting for the bats to come out when I looked down to the left, on the ground below the cement benches we were sitting on, and there was a 9-12" centipede crawling along the edge of the ground and benches. It came to within a foot or two of where I was sitting, and then hung a right turn and disappeared into a crack. It didn't freak me out, but I was watching that crack for the next two hours while watching the bats. I'm sure I missed a few coming out!!

They're insanely fast, they've got venom more potent than some hots and they're escape artist's extraordinaire!
No thanks.
Why they're not dwa over here I've no idea!
