Considering I have now been banned from baking wood at both my house and my parents house I don't think it'll be happening for quite a while now :P Luckily the rest of the stuff on my list I need to buy is available online :D

Haha sweet as, so no more wood pies ever haha.

No, I'm afraid not. Think I'll be sticking to the bleach bath method methinks

Or you could just strip it of all bark, do asn inspection and if you want clean with boiling water. Saves having to worry about completely getting all the bleach out of there.

Hmmmm... boiling water is a very good idea indeed

It will get rid of most things, but as long as you dont grab wood that has clear signs of termites, ants or has bark it should be fine. The boiling water is just a security measure.

I'm just a little paranoid as it's harvest mite season here

percey39
08-04-10, 06:42 PM
Yeah sometimes it pays to be paranoid!!!!! At least this way will not burn or smell out the house. I call it the "Laura friendly woody way"

.: Laura :.
08-04-10, 06:43 PM
Or the childproof sterilisation method :P

percey39
08-04-10, 06:47 PM
Haha unless you burn yourself with the boiling water all should be nice and safe and very easy

.: Laura :.

I may actually just do the bleach as come to think of it I still haven't cleaned out the dungeon and that will need to be bleached, so I could just dump it in the water. Just gotta figure out how to drain it afterwards!

Yeah thats not a bad idea then. You should be able to remove the tank off the base or is it all one solid piece?

.: Laura :.
08-04-10, 06:56 PM
I would have to lift the tank out of the stand which is impossible if I'm on my own as its veryyyy heavy

Maybe get Mark to help you move it into your bathroom, then you can do it all in their the next day.

.: Laura :.
08-04-10, 07:05 PM
This is very true, I'll have to ask him to help me move it on Sunday night so I'll have something to do on Monday whilst he's at work.... ORRRRRRRR now I'm thinking about it... I could always get him to help me clean it on Saturday and take me Moo shopping after!

percey39
08-04-10, 07:06 PM
The second idea sounds like it could be a little more fun. At least that way you will have new snake on monday to shop for.

.: Laura :.
08-04-10, 07:11 PM
This is very true, he'll hopefully be up for it as he wanted a milk in the first place :D

Now all I have to do is track one down

percey39
08-04-10, 07:11 PM
Haha but you females sometimes could talk a house into falling down *jokes* lol We only really talk when the mood is right or about sport, snakes, fishing, tattoo's, cars, bikes and other manly man things.
Im sure you will find one soon enough, at least you have a verbal contract out of him saying he wants a moo.

.: Laura :.
08-04-10, 07:16 PM
Yeah I know the type you mean, thankfully I'm not one of those and that is one of the many reasons I don't keep female company.
I'd love to be able to talk snakes with him but he just kinda rolls his eyes and carries on watching tv/playing ps3 :P

I have a few girly girl friends that really burn my wig when they start tlking about clothes shopping and handbags. It usually leads to me getting up and going for a smoke mid conversation lol. Ah a ps3 fan there is nohing wrong with the odd bit of gaming.
Does he have one of those sweet police hats, you know those big, high ones. They are awesome!!! Stace rolls her eye's as well when i talk about anything new i wanna get wether its these new speakers, snakes, cars or concerts.

.: Laura :.
08-04-10, 07:33 PM
I don't mind gaming at all just I find tony hawk extremely boring. Mark needs to get on it and sort out some broadband in the new place so i can get my CoD up and running again

percey39
08-04-10, 07:37 PM
Noooo not another CoD fan, im not really into that one. I prefer fallout, skate, NBA, red dead redemption and stuff like that. I dont play the sony too much though i use it more for a blue-ray player than anything else. Please tell me your partner has one of those cool hats, i will be super jealous as they look really funny but also cool at the same time.

.: Laura :.
08-05-10, 03:55 AM
:P no he doesn't, aww I love CoD and also bioshock 2

percey39
08-05-10, 08:54 AM
