I toss my rats directly in a tub of warmer water until thawed, I don't even bother drying them off I just taken them out of the water and on to a plate and feed. rarely have any refusals

I have a lot of snakes but I have a beloved Pet rat as well..
People keep dogs and chickens, yet lots of dog food is made with chicken ;)

I wanted one because they are pretty, and they stay relatively small. But they're not the snakes for me. I'll probably be getting another BCI or a Carpet python.

My baby sand boa is the bitiest snake ive ever had. I rarely see her except for feed or for her to get a drink. I wouldn't suggest repti bark or sand.

Don't fear it. bites dont hurt theyre just suprising.
Just limit handleing to occasional and while cleaning for a bit :) Don't have to stop completely.
