Re: Classic photo of huge snake

Snake in the OP was 11 feet huh? Well, even without forced perspective, that would make the guy in the photo almost 7 foot 5. Explain that, please.

OP you have issues. It's a snake, not your...

How big is boa? Boa is as big as you want boa to be, and don't let anybody else tell you otherwise!

Re: help getting rid of water snakes

Doug makes good points. The bottom line is this- the snakes aren't going to hurt anybody. The most they might do is bump into a swimmer in the water. They aren't going to bite unless somebody attacks...

Re: help getting rid of water snakes

Tell the people in your community to stop being such p*ssies. Problem solved. The snakes have every right to be there. Poisoning the water with mothballs is a terrible idea.

Re: Hairballs

Or I guess we couuld go now, before it gets too cold. There will still be snakes out.

I live in Pickering and I have no ride but I was thinking I could meet any interested parties at a GO station...

Re: Is this rat too big for my snake? *Feeding Video Included*

That's too much food for that snake and would also make for an uncomfortable snake. You'd be better off feeding a rat 66-75% that size IMO. Better for the snake and more comfortable as well.

Really? I've never had one try to bite me and I must have picked up 50-100 of them over the years.

Re: Hello from ON Canada Need Help

If you know the genus that the lizards are from you can search that genus until you find the species you have, then type the scientific name of the species into google to get the common name.

Re: Are Jungle Carpet Pythons large enough to injure a human?

I never let any snake around my neck when I had snakes. As long as you don't do that, you're usually ok.

Jungle carpets are not large snakes. If you keep them away from your neck the worst thing...

Re: Keeping a Wild Caught King Snake.

I think it's dangerous to the animal more than it is gross. You're forcing medication down the animal's throat. The dose has to be very precise. Forced ingestion is extremely stressful to snakes....
