Hi all - new so please pardon my lack of proper vocab - I am looking to update my corn snakes' viv by planting a few live plants in there for him to sniff and hide in. I was thinking of doing a mix of grasses (tall like an ornamental blue or something) and maybe hosta. Is either of these an ok choice? specifically trying to figure out hostas as there seems to be NO info on google etc at all. Any other plant recs would be appreciated too. Thanks a ton.
I did some research myself, and the one place I saw said that hosta are not safe for frogs (I know you have a snake, but I figure that if it is unsafe for a frog, it's unsafe for a snake.)
Another choice would be a snake plant (well named, right?)
Really anything sturdy would be fine. I really want to put some plants in my corn's viv, so if yours works out I might follow your lead
