Re: Venturing into the amphibian world!

Update on the lil guys, plants are doing ok but not great, not sure why. Frogs are doing awesome! Turk (green) is growing a lot faster than JD (blue) but I always watch to make sure they both eat and...

Re: Atticus is growing :)

Just over 400 grams now :) slowed down his feeding a bit, I'm a little worried he might be getting a little chunky as he's not gaining much in length. I was wondering, what do you guys consider the...

Re: Venturing into the amphibian world!

Snakes are definitely my favorite tank dwelling pet for the same reasons but this tank didn't seem big enough. I just got a fruit fly culture so I guess we'll see how that goes if it's too much work...

Re: Venturing into the amphibian world!

It stays at 99% as long as it is closed, which of course it always is aside from feeding. Pictures of the whole setup never do it justice but here is one anyway! And of course it is coming up...

Re: Atticus is growing :)

I haven't gotten an accurate length measurement in a while but he must be a bit over 3 ft now. And yesterday he weighed in at 340 grams on an empty stomach, and then he got a nice big dinner :)

Re: Atticus is growing :)

Thanks! He has been a fantastic first snake for me, came from the breeder already very calm and handleable and eating f/t. I knew I loved the boa temperament but like you wasn't sure about the size...

Re: Atticus is growing :)

The only thing I've noticed fading on him is his little yellow crescents, they brighten up again a bit with his white walls still but they are barely visible otherwise. The rest of his patterning is...
