Mara is doing good, she's eating well. uses all three hides, roams around at night, and snake excrement is a lot more than expected!

Well... Mara never arrived at the airport, apparently there was a mechanical malfunction on the plane and she’s sitting in Colorado. I let the breeder know and he said she’s packed well and it...

Thanks everyone for help and encouragement, today is the day! I pick up Mara (snakes new name!) from the airport at 10:30, I asked the breeder to have fed ex hold the snake there because it's so hot...

Painted the outside of the enclosure black and added some hides, should I put anything else in there?

Ok, so I did some diligent research on the BOI and found a reliable breeder, and just Purchased my first snake! Its an Abbots Okeetee 100% het amel female from VMS Herp.

Thank you EL Ziggy! I agree, I was thinking of some black construction paper or maybe some paint. I do plan to do more foliage in there with another hide, I am also going to keep it in a small tub...
