Two Headed Kingsake

Hi. I found a two headed kingsnake out on a trail yesterday. I want to keep it but I've read that they're difficult to keep alive. What are my best options. TIA

Welcome! I would leave it alone if it's a wild snake. It's so cool how you found it though!

I agree, if it has survived this long, it can probably be just fine in the wild. But that is a super rare find! If you get the chance i think it would be really cool to see pics

Re: Two Headed Kingsake

That's a very cool find! It probably doesn't have long to live, especially in the wild, unfortunately. In all honesty I don't think it would be *unethical* to take it from the wild, if you were financially up for the care of a two-headed snake, but it's probably best to leave it. If you did take it, you'd have to get it treated for parasites and I'd advise x-rays to determine what the internal configuration is to give it the best care.
If you have photos I'd love to see it though!
