Reptile basic rhp questions

So i plan on getting a reptile basic heat panel soon.

But they only have 120 watt one in stock. They dont have the 160 watt one rn as its out of stock.

My retics enclosure is 8ftx3ftx2ft.

Will the 120 watt heat panel be able to heat the enclosure properly or should i wait for the 160 watt heat panel?

Re: Reptile basic rhp questions

I'd contact Bob at proproducts and see what they recommend for a panel.

Re: Reptile basic rhp questions

Yeah definitely try Pro Products. I used 120 watts in my 6'x3'x2's (LxHxW), and I had to have a 100 watt CHE on the other end, on top of a space heater for the room. Otherwise, I had to drape sleeping bags over the doors to hold in heat during the winter. 120 watts would likely not be enough for a cage that size.

Bob at ProProducts is the guy for you. They manufacture their own products and custom make each one based on the customers needs. Been in business since 1967 and he's a great guy (and company) to do business with.
