Replys to posts

How come I can create a new post but cannot reply? The small box on the bottom left when I view a post says that I may reply but when I try I get a message saying I can't. What gives?

Alain

You'll have to send her a private message, the only person that can reply to a classified ad is the person who posted it.

I have had that message come up twice in the last week when I was simply trying to view a thread. Not reply.
Last night/very early this morning was the most recent.
It was a "do not buy from...." thread.

I wondered if it was because the thread had been closed, or deleted?
