Odd Bent Scales

Hello!
My snake has a ventral scale that has somehow been bent underneath itself towards the skin. It is not irritated and I didn't notice any issues with her last few sheds. But I'm a worried it might be uncomfortable (like an ingrown toenail vibe). Or that there is potential for dirt buildup due to the scale being slightly raised.
Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't heard anyone else talk about this and I'd like a better grasp of the situation before I do anything..
Cheers

Re: Odd Bent Scales

How long has the scale been like that? I've had snakes with out-of-place scales for short periods of time but not usually for multiple sheds.

I think it's been a while- only the very tip of the scale is bent so it was hard to spot

I would keep an eye on it and make sure that it doesn't show signs of irritation like pinkness or swelling. I imagine that as long as you keep humidity appropriately high during sheds then it should resolve itself.
