A Couple of Beauties from Last Night

I took my daughter out for a road cruising adventure last night. We spotted a small timber rattler right off, but he made it into the weeds before I could park the truck and get out to him. But, we kept going and found these two guys. Crappy night photos with flash, but it's the best I could do. They're such pretty snakes. But, VERY squirmy and hard to hook.

Very cool. We only have 1 kind of venomous snake here in Ontario... Fortunate as i don't have to worry about my son stepping on any thing poisonous, bit unfortunate because they really are the most fascinating snakes
