Carpet Python questions

I have a coastal carpet Python about 8mths old. Sometimes she seams like she's breathing heavy but everything else is fine. She's been looked at and I was told that carpets just do that, anybody else have the same issue? Also when she's breeding age what's a good site to see what offspring I can get with which sires?

Re: Carpet Python questions

Welcome!

I had a nale who breathed heavy and whistled and had him checked out 6 ways from sunday, nothing wrong with him. My current girl breaths heavy when excited and she is easily excited lol. No whistling yet though.

Pretty sure it's common with them. =)

As for a site like the world of BPs wizard, I don't believe one exists for carpets. Just talk to other breeders and have a plan. Eventually I want to add a super caramel jag (or some such) male to pair with my lady. We'll see how things go though lol.
