brazilians

i was wondering if anyone could post some pics of there brazilians givin birth, AND or pics of the cage setup. i was told that they neonates need a haven, to hide, so they dont get crushed by the female, anyone do this..if so ideas and info welcomed, thanks.

P.S I seen yours Walter, Very nice, and i beleive i seen yours earlier this summer Jeff. But wouldnt mind seeing again..cya

Thanks Man, lol. I never had any spot for the babies to hide under. They were pretty active and started to move around and the female was pretty good as well. She seemed to come up and smell the babies and was not that active after she was done.
So I guess it would be up to you if you want to add the wire rack set up for the babies to go under.

Alrite thanks, ive seen some pics with wire racks, and some without....I was just wondering if it was nesscessary or not. Just in case she pops when im at work, but i can imagine she wont be too mobile after that...so, i think ill try without it. thanks Walter

I've tried the wire rack in the past but it pisses my females off. I've gone to a meticulous record keeping system and watch as the big day approaches, then I use a newspaper substrate and on female per 2 x 4 cage, making sure the babies easily come out of their goop and are able to move on their own.
Trial and error, you'll get it right!
