Question What species of milk snake do I have?

His head is all black, with a tiny spot of yellow on the sides of his mouth. The first band is yellow. And he's got 14 triads of bands, with extra yellow and black bands at the end of his tail; 4 of each. The yellow and black bands are pretty much the same size, with the red ones about twice as long. And the colors are pretty much regular red, black, and yellow. MAYBE a little orange-ish on the yellow, but not very.

here's a picture:

He is still a baby, I'm not sure on the exact age, but he's barely bigger around than a pencil. My friend's friend gave it to him, and he gave it to me, so I don't really know what specific type of milk snake it is. Any input?

Thanks!

When I click on the link, it says "page cannot be displayed". If you can supply a decent photo, and it is one of the genuinely authentic 25 recognized subspecies of milksnake (L.triangulum), I'm sure I can identify it for you.

cheers, ~Doug

Oh sorry! Man, it took me forever to figure out how to get his image here without my post being denied! First it kept saying my post was denied due to too many urls or something I only had one. I tried inserting an image, just posting the url, adding an attachment, but nothing would work. I kept downsizing the photo, and now it's tiny.

this is the best I could do. If you could help me out on getting the photo in, I can try to get the picture bigger.

thanks!

Yes, it looks to be a Pueblan Milksnake (L.t.campbelli).

Looks just like my Pueblan milk. Hopefully you have an easier time feeding than I am, they can be stubborn.

thanks guys! I appreciate it! And he eats pretty well. Usually goes for the thawed pinky about 5 minutes after I put it in there.
