Need help identifying snake.

So i found this little guy out ing the parking lot lat night. Im fairy sure its a Norther Water Snake, but alot of people are saying its a baby copper head. I don't think it has the wide enough head or the colors for a copper head. I could use some help. Also if it is a non-venomous snake how could one care for it?

Yup water snake. Baby copperheads have yellow-tipped tails.

You should just release the snake back where you found it. There's plenty of animals in captivity, we don't need to deplete local populations.
